  The Anesthesiologists at Martha Jefferson Hospitalare committed to providing the best medical care for each patient throughout their surgical experience. This includes preoperative medical evaluation, intraoperative management carefully matching the anesthetic needs of each patient to that patient’s medical condition, monitoring responses to anesthesia and the requirements of the surgery itself, and immediate recovery and postoperative management of pain.   Our practice of anesthesiology is doctor only, meaning that a physician with an MD degree and an additional 3-6 years of training will be involved in your care. All our physicians are certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, or are recent graduates in the active process of board certification, and many of us have additional expertise in areas such as internal medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, geriatrics, cardiovascular, neurosurgical and outpatient anesthesia. |
